Psychotherapy in Santa Monica

I offer psychotherapy in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles for adults seeking support with trauma healing, relationship challenges, grief, recurring life patterns, psychosomatic symptoms, and questions of meaning and purpose.

My approach is process-oriented and grounded in an understanding of the psyche’s creative and transformative capacities. Therapy is tailored to your unique circumstances, history, and cultural background.

My work is rooted in Jungian psychology, depth psychology, and embodied approaches.

I am trained in trauma-informed somatic and creative arts therapies. My practice integrates creative arts, somatic movement, sandplay, dream work. Together, we attend to both the symbolic and embodied dimensions of experience, creating space for healing, self-discovery, and psychological growth.

Many seek therapy during periods of transition, loss, emotional distress, relationship difficulties, or when they feel disconnected from themselves and the deeper meaning of their lives. My hope is to help with making room for new ways of partnering with yourself, feeling more at home in your skin. We talk about your challenges, explore underlying unconscious motivations, engage with dreams work, draw on inner images while attuning to your body’s intelligence. Gradually the process can help you identify and notice your tendencies, work through self-defeating patterns, broaden your response repertoire, develop a wider symbolic sensitivity, and cultivate a meaningful relationship to your inner and outer worlds, allowing new possibilities to emerge.

With lived experience in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, and fluency in Farsi, French, and English, I bring a multicultural perspective and sensibility to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

My office is located in Santa Monica, serving individuals throughout Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, Brentwood, Venice, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, as well as Pasadena, Glendale, and surrounding communities. When appropriate, online/telehealth psychotherapy are available throughout California.
